Tune Stages
Three calibrated tiers built around DME software. Pick the stage that matches your hardware. Every stage is dyno verified and pump-gas safe unless noted.
Stage 1
ECU flash on the stock OE hardware. Optimized boost, fueling, ignition timing, and torque limiters. The single biggest gain per dollar in AMG tuning.
- DME ECU Calibration
- OBD Flash, No Hardware Required
- Pump Gas Safe
- Transmission Tune Included
Stage 2
ECU calibration matched to bolt-on hardware. Downpipes, intakes, intercoolers, and pulley upgrades fully integrated into the tune for clean, repeatable power.
- Stage 1 + Bolt-On Hardware
- Downpipes & Catless Tune
- Performance Intake & Intercooler
- M157 Pulley Upgrade Available
Stage 3
Built-engine territory. Forged internals, hybrid turbos, methanol or E85, and a fully custom dyno-tuned map. The full Corsa AMG performance build.
- Forged Internals & Rods
- Hybrid Turbocharger Upgrade
- E85 Flex Fuel Calibration
- Full Custom Dyno Tune

The AMG Difference
Authorized DME Partner
Direct access to DME engineers and the full DME software library. Calibrations come from the source, not a USB stick passed around a forum.
In-House Dyno
Every AMG tune is validated on our AWD dyno. You see the air-fuel ratio, the boost curve, and the verified wheel horsepower before the car leaves.
Reliability First
AMG engines have hard limits, and we respect them. Conservative timing, headroom on fueling, and OEM-spec part choices. Power that lasts past the warranty.
From Stock to Tuned
Vehicle Eval
Health check, baseline scan, fuel grade and hardware confirmation.
Baseline Dyno
Stock pulls to establish your starting point and verify integrity.
DME Flash
Custom calibration loaded by DME-trained tech, ECU and TCU.
Verification
Final dyno pulls, datalogs reviewed, road test, results signed off.
Common Questions
How much horsepower does a Stage 1 AMG tune add?
+
A Stage 1 DME calibration on a stock Mercedes-AMG typically adds 80 to 130 horsepower and 90 to 140 lb-ft of torque. A C63 S with the M177 V8 picks up the most, often gaining 110+ hp on 93 octane. The M139 in the A45 S and CLA45 S gains around 80 to 90 hp. M178 GT cars sit in the same range as the M177. All gains are dyno-verified on our AWD dyno before the car leaves.
Will an AMG tune void my Mercedes warranty?
+
Federal law under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your right to use independent tuning services without automatically voiding your warranty. A Mercedes dealer must prove the tune directly caused a specific failure to deny coverage. Our AMG tunes are fully reversible via OBD return-to-stock flash, and many customers flash back to stock before any dealer visit. We document every tune and provide before/after baseline data for your records.
Do you need a dyno to tune an AMG?
+
For a Stage 1 flash, no, the DME calibration is mathematically validated on the same engine map your AMG runs from the factory. For Stage 2 and Stage 3 builds with bolt-on hardware, yes, dyno tuning is required. We run AWD dyno pulls on every Stage 2+ AMG to verify the air-fuel ratio, knock retard, and final wheel horsepower. The dyno session is included in Stage 2 and 3 pricing.
Can you tune the new C63 hybrid (W206) with the M139 electrified powertrain?
+
Yes. The 2024+ C63 S E Performance uses the M139l engine paired with the EQ electric motor and 400V battery. DME has full calibration support for the new C63 hybrid, including the ECU, the hybrid control module, and the rear-axle electric drive unit. Gains are conservative on the early maps, around 60 to 80 hp combined, because the hybrid system is still being mapped at the factory level. We update C63 hybrid tunes free for life as DME releases new revisions.
How much does AMG tuning cost?
+
A Stage 1 DME flash on a Mercedes-AMG ranges from $1,895 to $2,495 depending on the platform, with the M177 V8 cars on the lower end and the M139 four-cylinder cars at the higher end. Stage 2 calibration plus dyno tuning runs $2,895 to $3,495 not including hardware. Stage 3 built-engine programs start at $25,000 and scale with the parts list. Every Corsa AMG tune includes lifetime DME map updates, before/after dyno pulls, and full road-test verification.
Can a G63 be tuned, and is it safe daily?
+
The G63 with the M177 V8 takes a Stage 1 DME flash extremely well, typically gaining 80 to 100 horsepower on 93 octane. The 9G-TRONIC transmission gets a TCU tune at the same time so the upshifts and downshifts match the new torque curve. The G-Class is daily-safe at Stage 1 with zero hardware changes, including towing and high-altitude driving. Stage 2 with downpipes is also popular on the G63 and runs reliably on pump gas.
Do you offer mail-in AMG tuning for owners outside Florida?
+
Yes. We ship mail-in ECU flash kits anywhere in the continental US for Mercedes-AMG owners who cannot bring the car to our shop. You receive a pre-programmed DME flash tool, plug-and-play instructions, and direct phone support during the flash. Return-to-stock is included so you can revert before any dealer visit. Mail-in is available for Stage 1 only. Stage 2 and Stage 3 require the car on-site for dyno tuning and hardware install.
How long does an AMG tune take?
+
A Stage 1 DME flash on a Mercedes-AMG takes about 90 minutes from key-on to key-off, including the baseline scan, ECU flash, TCU flash, and a short verification drive. Stage 2 calibration plus the dyno session takes a full day, typically 6 to 8 hours, because we run multiple pulls and refine the map between each one. Stage 3 built-engine programs are weeks of work depending on the hardware list and lead time on forged parts.
