Vehicle Wrap Trainingin Orlando

Three days. Six students. Real exotics.

3 Full Days

This is not a classroom demonstration

You will work the material yourself. Prep panels, control tension, finish edges, handle curves, correct your own mistakes, and run a final quality-control inspection. This happens inside an active automotive campus where wraps are sold, installed, inspected, and delivered to customers who paid for them.

You are not coming to watch someone else work.

Real Vehicles

You train on actual automotive panels and vehicles, including exotics, not only flat practice boards.

Real Shop Standards

Preparation, installation, finishing, and quality control taught as one continuous workflow, the way a paying job actually runs.

Real Attention

Six students. Not twelve. Every person gets hands-on time and direct correction while their hands are still on the film.

THE SHOP

A normal week on the lot

This is the building you would be training in, on an ordinary week. Not a rented classroom and not a unit with one project car in it.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Three film systems, not one

Most wrap training is run by a distributor and teaches one manufacturer’s film, because that is what the distributor sells. It works, right up until a customer brings you a different material and it behaves nothing like what you practised on.

Corsa sells no film. Over three days you work across three systems and feel the difference in your hands.

3M

2080 Series

The industry reference film. Predictable adhesive, forgiving repositioning, and the behaviour every other film gets compared against.

Avery Dennison

SW900 Supreme

Different initial tack and a different stretch curve. Learning it beside 3M is how you stop memorising one film and start reading any film.

Cheetah

Cast Series

Behaves differently again under heat. Three films across three days is the fastest way to build real judgement instead of one brand habit.

THE RESULT

What comes out of this building

Colour changes, custom prints and full rebuilds in film, delivered to customers who paid for them. The standard you are trained against is the one these were held to.

THE COURSE

Your 3-day curriculum

The course runs in the same order as a professional wrap job: inspect, prepare, install, finish, verify.

1DAY

Foundation, Film Control, and Preparation

  • Vehicle inspection and documentation
  • Vinyl types, finishes, adhesives, and material selection
  • Professional cleaning and surface preparation
  • Tool use and knife safety
  • Removing trim without creating unnecessary damage or labour
  • Reading the film: heat, stretch, tension, and memory
  • Glassing flat and moderately curved panels
  • Squeegee control and air-release technique
  • First hands-on panel installations
  • How Florida heat and humidity change installation and longevity

BY THE END OF DAY 1

You understand the full preparation process and can lay film on basic panels with controlled tension and clean coverage.

2DAY

Panels, Curves, Edges, and Problem Areas

  • Hoods, roofs, doors, and fenders
  • Mirrors, handles, spoilers, and trim
  • Bumpers, recesses, compound curves, and body lines
  • Seam placement, inlays, overlays, and when each is appropriate
  • Corner technique and edge finishing
  • Avoiding lift lines, wrinkles, trapped air, overstretching, adhesive failure
  • Safe trimming around paint and sensitive surfaces
  • Removing and reinstalling components correctly
  • Instructor-led fault correction on actual work

BY THE END OF DAY 2

You can approach complex shapes methodically, recognise failure points early, and correct the common problems yourself.

3DAY

Professional Workflow, Quality Control, and Review

  • Completing a vehicle in the correct production sequence
  • Post-heating and manufacturer temperature requirements
  • Final edge, seam, recess, and contamination inspection
  • Rework decisions: repair it, replace it, or leave it alone
  • Safe wrap removal and paint-risk evaluation
  • Quoting labour, materials, waste, and complexity
  • Setting realistic customer expectations
  • Care instructions and delivery standards
  • Hands-on skills review with individual feedback

BY THE END OF DAY 3

You leave with a repeatable workflow, a real quality-control standard, and an honest read on what you still need to practise.

THE WORK ITSELF

This is what three days looks like

Not a slideshow of finished cars. Film going onto panels, edges being cut, front ends stripped so the corners can be done properly. This is the work you will be doing, in the bay you will be doing it in.

Who this is built for

Complete Beginners

Build the right foundation before bad habits become your normal process. No experience assumed.

Detailers and Tint Installers

Add a high-value service that sits naturally beside the work you already sell.

Shop Teams

Send an employee, or tighten the standards of the wrap work your shop already produces.

Working Installers

Fix weak technique, learn how three different films behave, and understand real job costing.

Students must be at least 18, able to stand and work with their hands for extended periods, and willing to follow every shop safety rule without exception.

Train inside a working Orlando shop

Corsa Automotive is not renting a room and calling it a wrap school. You train in the same Orlando facility where the team handles wraps, customization, collision repair, mechanical work, performance builds, and exotic cars.

That matters because wrapping a car is not only about laying vinyl. It is protecting the vehicle, planning the disassembly, controlling production time, knowing when a panel needs correction, inspecting the finished work, and delivering something a paying customer will actually accept.

  • A working automotive and wrap facility, not a rented conference room
  • Climate-controlled installation bay
  • Daily drivers, luxury vehicles, and exotics on the floor
  • Premium cast film from three manufacturers
  • Convenient Central Florida location near I-4 and SR 408

Questions people actually ask

Do I need previous experience?+

No. The course is built to give beginners a correct foundation, and to help newer installers correct habits that are costing them time and material. Come ready for three active days on your feet.

Is this actually hands-on?+

Yes. You work directly with vinyl on real vehicle bodywork, including exotics, for all three days. The class is capped at six students specifically to protect hands-on time and instructor access.

Do I need to bring tools or a vehicle?+

No. Corsa provides the vehicles, all three film systems, and every piece of shop equipment. You also take home a professional starter tool kit.

Why teach three different film brands?+

Because a single-brand course teaches you one film, not how film behaves. 3M, Avery Dennison, and Cheetah have different tack, different stretch, and different heat response. Working across all three in three days is what builds judgement you can apply to whatever material a job puts in front of you.

Will I be certified after the course?+

You receive a Corsa Automotive certificate of completion. To be direct about what that is and is not: it is our own document confirming you completed the training. It is not issued, endorsed, or accredited by 3M, Avery Dennison, Cheetah, the State of Florida, or any government agency.

Does this guarantee a job or income?+

No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something else. Corsa does not guarantee employment, customers, or revenue. This is three days of foundational installation and shop-process training that you then have to keep practising.

What can I realistically do after three days?+

You will have a complete process: preparation, film handling, tension and heat control, flat and curved panels, edges, corners, recesses, post-heating, removal, and final inspection. Three days builds a genuine foundation. Speed and mastery still take months of repetition, and we will tell you that honestly on day three.

Where is it held?+

Corsa Automotive, 620 N. Hastings St, Orlando, FL 32808. Easy access from I-4 and SR 408, and workable as a drive for students coming from Tampa, Daytona, Lakeland, and the Space Coast.

What should I wear?+

Clean work clothes, closed-toe non-slip shoes, no loose jewellery. Full shop and safety requirements go out before class.

Can my shop send more than one person?+

Yes, while seats remain. For a private team class on your own dates, call (407) 296-4466.

Corsa Wrap Academy is a hands-on training course. The certificate of completion is a Corsa Automotive document. It is not issued, endorsed, or accredited by 3M, Avery Dennison, Cheetah, the State of Florida, or any government agency, and it does not constitute a license or a guarantee of employment.

The team at Corsa (Ken, Jaden, Dillon, Eli), are truly amazing. They are welcoming even allowing my son to come into the back to see their kick-ass Andretti style gaming system, professional, knowledgeable, and truly talented. I recently brought in my Mercedes CLS for some custom tuning work. They got me in immediately, got me out just as quickly, and the pricing is straightforward and fair. Corsa is a Diamond in the Rough. I can't thank you all enough for the great work, it was above and beyond my expectations.
